As the title says, what have you been playing recently?

I have pretty much just been playing deep space d6 because that’s all I have to hand recently.

We're playtesting a GMless science fiction drama game I made, a mashup of Dramasystem and Archipelago with world creation modeled after For the Queen. We spent two weeks creating a world full of cool weird details (the most common for of alien intelligence is mile-long jellyfish like creatures that live inside gas giants) and characters (a pair of nomads seeking fame and glory through unusual experiences, a conspiracy theorist space trucker, a cute and tiny bloodthirsty despot). So far that part has been really fun. Hopefully this week we'll get into the actual playing part of the game, and see if that part of the game works at all.

Before that, we played a campaign about raising giant flail snail monsters on a farm. Just a really nice and relaxed game about relationships and kindness and getting to know each other through shared labor, and also about the weird biology of giant magical gastropods.

Oh wow, that actually sounds really great. For the Queen is an absolute favourite of mine, it’s a great way to build worlds.

I hope the rest of the game goes well for you all too!
